AASL Conference Daily
AASL Digest Conference Edition, the official conference daily newsletter of the 2019 AASL National Conference, is distributed each day via e-mail. As an AASL19 registrant you will automatically receive the conference daily sent to the e-mail address provided with your registration.
AASL19 Mobile App
Access the AASL19 Mobile App to view the full conference agenda and plan your own personal schedule. To download the mobile app from your Apple or Android store, search for CrowdCompass AttendeeHub. Once downloaded, search for AASL to connect to the AASL19 Mobile App.
Attendees needing special services may visit the conference information desk in the registration area to request information and assistance. Motorized scooters are available only if reserved in advance. See Wheelchairs and Motorized Scooters.
An addendum to this program, containing session changes, additions, cancellations, and updated information, will appear in the conference daily newsletter, AASL Digest Conference Edition, delivered each morning to the e-mail address provided in your registration. Attendees will also receive alerts through the Message Center in the AASL19 mobile app.
All participants are expected to observe the rules and behaviors described in the Statement of Appropriate Conduct (national.aasl.org/conduct) in all conference venues at AASL/ALA conferences, including online venues and conference social events.
While the Business Center located across the street from the Kentucky International Convention Center can handle shipping needs, a satellite location for shipping services is also available on the exhibit hall floor.

Charging stations will be located in the Lower Concourse outside of the concurrent session rooms. Free wireless access is available during the conference dates. Please be considerate of other users and limit your time on the internet and at charging stations to 30 minutes per session.

Coat and luggage check services are available in the Upper Concourse of the Kentucky International Convention Center.

You don’t have to leave the convention center to grab a bite to eat. Food and beverage vendors as well as seating for concessions is available in Exhibit Hall C-E.
Complimentary coffee service will be available to all attendees on the exhibit floor each morning. In addition, all one-day and full conference attendees will receive a food voucher to exchange for a salad or sandwich at food carts located throughout the exhibit hall. The Exhibits Opening Reception on Thursday evening will also feature light appetizers.

Lost and Found
Lost items may be turned in and reclaimed at the Registration Desk. Any items of value will immediately be turned in to building security.
Visitors to the Kentucky International Convention Center will have access to two parking garages – the Cowger Garage, located at 4th & Market Street (directly next to Z’s Fusion Restaurant) and the Commonwealth Garage, located on Jefferson Street (middle of block on left hand side) between 3rd & 4th Streets and connected to Hyatt Regency. Use this form to track your professional development time at AASL’s National Conference. AASL is not an accredited agency. It is recommended that you confirm with your state department of education that this document will suffice for proof of attendance and necessary continuing education credit.
AASL will not provide printed materials for concurrent sessions or the IdeaLab. Materials uploaded by presenters will be available at national.aasl.org/handouts and through the conference mobile app.
The Kentucky International Convention Center is a nonsmoking building. According to ALA policy, smoking is prohibited in open meetings and programs sponsored by ALA units during conference.
Wheelchairs and Motorized Scooters
A limited number of wheelchairs and motorized scooters are available for use at the Kentucky International Convention Center. If you reserved one in advance, pick-up is in the Kentucky International Convention Center in the Upper Concourse near registration.
The Kentucky International Convention Center is wheelchair accessible, including exhibit halls, meeting rooms, and ballrooms. Elevators are located at street and pre-function levels with ramping available throughout the center. Bathrooms throughout the center are wheelchair accessible. The center’s parking facilities have reserved spaces for handicap-accessible parking.
